301 Motel

Much of my work is in photomontage and mixed media. This image is a synthesis of several I made as traffic crept slowly down 301 in north Florida. Some people don’t care for the cut-across route from I95, south of Jacksonville, over to I75. They say it’s boring, crowded, and redneck. I agree completely but I think there is plenty to see, and more to remember, in Baldwin, Callahan, Waldo, and Starke.
